Become a guardian of elderly patients with dementia

A patient with Alzheimer's disease appears every three seconds in the world. So far, dementia is an "incurable disease" and there is no any medication that can cure it. Asia is currently with the highest number of dementia cases. Dementia generally happens at the age of 70s, however there are also patients with early dementia in their 50s. Alzheimer's disease is an irreversible, progressive brain disease characterized by the formation of amyloid plaques and neurofibrillary tangles. Alzheimer's disease can be divided into two types: early-onset Alzheimer's disease and late-onset Alzheimer's disease, both of which are related to genes. Risk factors for developing or having dementia include high blood pressure in middle age and later life, diabetes, and atrial fibrillation.

Although there are few new medication, they are extremely limited, very expensive and have certain risks. Develop non-invasive treatments and prevention, including meditation, body movements, response stimulation training, 40Hz GAMMA wave light therapy and sound therapy, Digital nostalgia therapy and etc. can alleviate dementia. Research has found that 40Hz light waves can stimulate the brain's gamma brain waves, reduce amyloid protein, and improve memory and cognitive abilities.

It is our honor to work with Delta's M+ GAMMA brain care R & D team and Professor Yang Yuanhan, Alzheimer's disease general convener at the National Health Research Institutes of Taiwan, to develop "Alzheimer's disease non-invasive technology" by combining electronic information technology, AI artificial intelligence, and advanced medical technology. We do hope that we can develop "Alzheimer's disease non-invasive identification, prevention, intervention, monitoring, prediction total solution of health care & medical equipment and guide manuals”. That will benefit to potential patients, patients and caregivers to prevent patients’ brain functions decline and to decrease caregivers’ burden

"Prevention is better than treatment". Reducing the incidence rate is our goal, and protracting the course of the disease is our wish. Let’s "make vows" & "study diligently" to become a guardian of elderly patients with dementia.
